The vibes are immaculate. Period.
This is the kind of spot we’ve been waiting for as Nashville’s food scene gets elevated more and more. The combination of a listening experience where the DJ is taking us through the night on a musical journey that pairs so well with the incredible menu. Signature dishes include nigiri, maki, cured salmon onigiri, donabe fried rice, and hot karaage. The beverage service showcases an extensive selection of Japanese products including craft beers, rare whiskies, and a curated sake program, elevating the overall dining experience.
This may be our favorite new restaurant in Nashville.

02

Luogo

All the best Italian food you can ask for.

Pro tip, start off with the arancini + giant meatball, then a pasta main course (loved the rigatoni bolognese), then veal parm followed by tiramisu and a gelato tower.

Oh and you can’t miss out on their homemade limoncello šŸ‹

03

Bad Idea

It’s always a good idea to go to Bad Idea šŸ˜‰
In the diverse Nashville food scene it is really hard to choose an absolute favorite but this one definitely takes the cake - in more ways than onešŸ°
If you haven’t been to Bad Idea yet then please do yourself some love and get over to East and have an incredible meal, wine, and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere (once was a church building). Each dish tells a story and has layers of flavor that are intricate and nuanced. Hands down favorite is the Pain Perdu, Kaya Jam, Caviar toast and the shareable mains are fun to mix up with friends.
Pro tip: you’re out late in East at a dive bar and want a sweet little night-cap spot? Bad Idea has a late night menu from 10pm-12pm so try the Golden Curry Corndog or the Szechuan Pork Rinds.

Nelson's Greenbrier

Go To Best Brunch In Nashville at Nelson’s Greenbrier Distillery! With live music on Sunday, amazing food, cocktails that are to die for and of course their whiskey tasting experience- they also have meeting spaces and event spaces for rent for the perfect gathering. Definitely go to brunch this weekend at @nelsonsgreenbrier šŸ„ƒ
The biscuit basket and strawberry shortcake were our top picks!

05

Dos Santos Tacos

We just found the best new spot for tacos, tequila cocktails and a modern Cozumel, Mexico kind of vibe. Dos Santos is in Wedgewood-Houston right next to Diskin Cider and is a lovely addition to the neighborhood. Check out their happy hour menu and their open lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. šŸŒ®šŸ¹ we loved the tuna tostada, plantains. and the chips and guac were so yummmmy! šŸ„‘ Go check them out and tell them you found it on Go To Nashville!

06

The Henry

Go To spot in 12S with a great brunch, 2 story dining space, live music and great food with a vibe is The Henry. Our favorites were the breakfast bowl and sushi and the short ribs were to die for. The first floor is a fun bar with daytime live music too and special events coming.

07

Choy

Genuinely obsessed with Choy in The Gulch- this new hot spot is modern, sexy, and elegant with its rich menu of Chinese/American cuisine and amazing wine selection. The contributing chef is a James Beard Award winner and the menu shines with the Peking Duck as the star. Make sure to try the refreshing peach salad and the chrysanthemum ice milk - to die for!!

Located inside Thompson Hotel with easy self parking across the street or valet (we love us some good parking) and you can always keep the party going by heading up to the rooftop LA Jackson after an amazing dinner at Marsh House. Oh and if you’re celebrating- make sure to get the Cham-bong, a funny shaped champagne flute that will make for some funny moments! šŸ„‚šŸ¦Ŗ

Fancy Pants

Adding this to our top restaurants in Nashville for 2025 and that is FANCYPANTS šŸŖ©šŸ’ƒšŸ¼ can’t get enough of this spot in East with a really fun, playful menu with a serious side of exceptionally well thought out dishes. From the beef tartare served on a bed of sea salt, to the funfetti cheesecake that perfectly capped off the night. Truly a special spot and they’re doing some fun things coming up with a Thurs night series where you can roll the dice to win a free meal, and Sunday nights the menu is a la carte and no pre-fixed. I’m tellin you- go get your Fancypants on!! @wearefancypants

Kase

You’re going to want to make the reservation right now. We’re not even kidding.
šŸ£ KASE x NOKO šŸ£ is bringing Japanese omakase style dining to East Nashville. The 14 seat table makes for a cozy and close up view of the chefs offering nigiri tastings.
Offering a vast list of wines and rare sakes. Our favorite cocktail was the Princess Ichigo , a beautiful mix of sake, crème fraise, agave, and cherry blossom. Oh and get this/ when you walk in you’re in the cocktail lounge - which turns out to be the smallest bar in the state of Tennessee… then you’re ushered into the one and only dining room when it’s time to eat. These guys are doing it right (yep it’s the team from Noko) so get that reservation now and have an incredible evening @kasexnoko

It’s been voted one of the most beautiful restaurants in the US and we have to agree.
